In our youth apprenticeship, the Peace and Justice Fellowship, our fellows demonstrated clear, measurable growth across every competency area in the program, showing an overall 11.3% increase in skills and confidence across a 22-item rubric. They strengthened their collaboration and communication skills by 17.6%, deepened technical and digital literacy by 23%, and expanded their leadership and restorative justice capacities by 10.7%. These increases reflect meaningful shifts in confidence, skill development, and readiness to lead—demonstrating the impact of a youth-centered, restorative learning environment.
